Mystery Jets To Move To America

They're going to record their next album in Texas...
Mystery Jets have been telling Xfm how their next album will be recorded in the US. Speaking to Dan O'Connell at their Coors Lite Rock The Mountains show in Val D'Isere, Blaine Harrison revealed that the band hadn't spent as much time in America as they'd liked, but they were heading there to work on the follow-up to 'Seratonin'.
"I think we're listening to a lot of American bands, a lot of American rock music. And a lot of country stuff - I'm listening to a lot of Gram Parsons, Crosby Stills And Nash and Emmylou Harris.
"We're renting out a big house with a porch in three acres of forest in Austin, Texas. And the idea is to go there and set up a little studio and see what comes out. We're going to be quite free about it."
You can hear the full interview and show from 9pm on Xfm tonight (February 25).
