The Darkness Live Dates Announced

Xfm can confirm that the mighty Darkness much rumoured winter UK arena tour will definitely be taking place, and it will include the band’s biggest ever gigs to date.
As rumoured, the band will be undertaking a huge eight date jaunt starting off at the Nottingham Arena, taking in Glasgow, Newcastle, Manchester, Sheffield, Cardiff and Birmingham, and ending up in The Darkness’ first headlining date at the Wembley Arena in London.
The band are also planning on releasing a new DVD compilation in time for Christmas this year. The double disc set will feature a documentary made by Nick Abrahams, all the band’s videos (including the rarely seen video for ‘Friday Night’) and an early homemade video for ‘I Believe In A Thing Called Love’.
The Darkness will also be headlining The Carling Reading / Leeds Weekender which takes place from this Friday August 27 till 29 at Richfield Avenue, Reading and Bramham Park, Wetherby, Leeds respectively.
Ticket prices and availability details for the Darkness tour are expected to be confirmed over the next few days.
