Xfm's 10th Birthday Documentaries: This Sunday - QOTSA

added 19 September 2007 at 15.31

Xfm have put together ten hour long documentaries for our 10th Birthday on the most significant albums of the past ten years. This Sunday it's the story of QOTSA's 2000 album 'Rated R', as told by the people who made it.

This year Xfm turns ten and we're doing all we can to shout about it. One of the ways we're celebrating is by creating a series of ten hour long documentaries on the most influential albums released during the past decade. Each one will define a particular year of broadcast since our launch in 1997.

Each groundbreaking documentary - featuring a huge host of new interviews with some of the biggest names in music - will be aired every Sunday at 5pm.

This Sunday (October 7) it's 2001 and the story of Queens Of The Stone Age's 'Rated R' that we're telling, featuring a brand new world X-clusive interview with the band, their friends and peers.

Tune into Xfm London (104.9fm) this Sunday at 5pm or Xfm Manchester (97.7fm) at 1pm, or of course listen online or on DAB. Each of the ten documentaries, created by Xfm's Matt Everitt, can be heard for seven days online through Xfm's Listen Again player by clicking here.

Xfm are also producing X-clusive podcasts of each episode which you can download for free as soon as they've been aired. To download any podcasts of the documentaries that have already been aired.
