First Friday is a unique club night showcasing the very best of Xfm - and this month it'll be playing host to Pete And The Pirates, Scanners, and our very own Alex Zane.

First Friday is Xfm in clubnight form - the main room plays host to the big hitters from the daytime playlist while our specialist DJs ply their trade in the back bar, bringing you every single one of those "Oh my God, I love this song!" moments that you love us for, except instead of being in the office you'll be on a dancefloor.
First Friday - March 7

Xfm are proud to present Xfm's First Friday at the Carling Academy Islington, London on March 7. 

This month Alex Zane and Cheeky Pete will be taking to the decks with live sets from Pete And The Pirates, Scanners and Rock Star Karaoke plus resident DJ's Jo & Jo.


Xfm's First Friday goes down on the First Friday (see what we did there?) of every month at the Carling Academy Islington.

  • Tickets are £5 before 11pm or £5 all night with an NUS card.

  • For Johnny come latelys, tickets are £7 after 11pm.

  • Beat the queues and get tickets in advance from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Carling Academy Islington Box Office on 0870 771 2000.

  • The Carling Academy Islington is in the N1 Centre, 16 Parkfield Street, Islington, London, N1 0PS.

  • The nearest tube station is Angel.
