Xfm: OnTour Terms and Conditions

RULES

1. The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.xfm.co.uk/onair/general-terms-and-conditions-of-service-for-global-radio-websites) apply to ‘[Xfm: OnTour]’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from [Monday 24th May] to [Friday 28th May] (“the Duration”).  The "Radio Station" is The Xfm Network [Xfm London, Xfm Manchester].

2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

Details of the Competition:
3. The Telephone Line will open at [07:00] and close at [19:00] each day of the week.
For the chance to play for the prize listeners must hear two consecutive tracks, in full, from the week’s chosen winning artist (The Libertines).  These two consecutive tracks could be played at any time on any day between the opening and closing of the lines.

When two tracks are played consecutively, listeners should text [83936] (the “Telephone Line”).  Texts will be charged at standard network rates. 

A texter will be chosen at random and taken to air to answer a general knowledge question.  If the contestant correctly answers the question they will win the prize, if they do not, another caller will be asked the same question and so on until the prize is won.

Eligibility:
4. All entrants must:
a. be over 18 years of age
b. be a UK resident
c. hold a valid passport (with minimum 6 months left before expiry)

Prizes:
4. FOR XFM 104.9 (LONDON) OR XFM NATIONAL (DIGITAL) During week commencing Monday 24th May 2010 the on air prize will consist of two weekend camping tickets to Reading Festival on 27-29th August.  This will include 2x tickets, 2x camping passes, one Xfm tent and travel insurance per couple.  Train travel from the winner’s nearest major city to Reading will be included.  There will be one opportunity to win this prize.  

4A. FOR XFM 97.7 MANCHESTER During week commencing Monday 24th May 2010 the on air prize will consist of two weekend camping tickets to Leeds Festival on 27-29th August.  This will include 2x tickets, 2x camping passes, one Xfm tent and travel insurance per couple.  Train travel from the winner’s nearest major city to Reading will be included.  There will be one opportunity to win this prize.  

Further details on prizes:
5. Unless stated otherwise, for concerts outside the UK, flights could be from any UK airport.  Travel to and from the specified airport will be provided.
6. Accommodation for all prizes is a minimum of 3 stars (unless camping stated).
7. All winners must have a current and valid passport with at least six months left on it before expiry.
8. All winners are responsible for organising any visa required for them to travel to the destination country should they need them. Xfm accepts no responsibility if winners are refused entry to the destination country and cannot reimburse individuals for any costs incurred in the event of this happening.
9. Winners must also be free and able to travel around the dates of the gigs specified above, which cannot be altered.

10. Xfm reserves the right to amend or add to these terms and conditions at any time.
