To celebrate Bright Eyes leader Conor Oberst's first effort as Conor Oberst And The Mystic Valley Band, erm, Conor Oberst dropped by Xfm to do a session for Steve Harris.
It's fair to say Conor Oberst is one of the most interesting and prolific artists of our generation. His latest endeavour is Conor Oberst And The Mystic Valley Band, the live spectacle which serves as the front for his self-titled solo effort.
The actual '...Band' include Taylor Hollingsworth and Nik Freitas on guitar, Macey Taylor on bass, Nate Walcott on trumpet/keys, and Jason Boesel on drums. So excited about their work, Oberst and co popped by Xfm to record a sweet session for Steve Harris.
