Owen Wilson stars in Drillbit Taylor; a hilarious offbeat comedy about three kids who are so terrorised by the school bully that they decide to hire a low-budget bodyguard.
Ryan, Wade and Emmit are having a blast on their first day at high school, until they cross paths with the dreaded Filkins - a school bully who comes off like a little Hannibal Lecter.
Fearing Filkins’ reign of terror, the boys seek out some protection by placing an ad for a bodyguard online. Their best response - and the cheapest - comes from Drillbit Taylor (Owen Wilson), a down-on-his luck soldier of fortune who lives a homeless - he likes to say “home free” - existence on the beach.
With Drillbit Taylor on the case, the boys are enrolled in some fierce physical and mental training. But is it enough to shake off Filkins?
