"Venison" Split Up
The Strokes' alter egos call it a day after their UK show.
In bizarre band news, The Strokes have announced that their "other" band Venison have split up. The New Yorkers used the pseudonym for their secret show at London's Dingwalls on Wednesday night (June 9), but have claimed the group are no more.
"After a career playing only sold-out shows the band Venison are calling it a day," the band said on their Twitter. "'They wanted to end on a high,' said a spokesperson today."
