The Killers And Coldplay To Play War Child Show

The Killers and Coldplay will line up together for a War Child benefit show at Shepherds Bush Empire. That’s right. They’re on the same bill.

War Child will present an amazing night at the O2 Sherpherds Bush Empire on February 18. The night, to promote the charity’s new ‘Heroes’ album, will see The Killers and Coldplay line up to play a 45 minute set each.

2000 fans will be allowed in to see this one-off show featuring two of the world’s biggest bands. Tickets to the event are priced at £50 and will be awarded on a lottery basis. The opportunity to enter the lottery will begin at 9am, Friday, January 30 through www.warchildheroes.com

Speaking about the event, Coldplay have said:

“In our eyes, War Child is one of the world's most important charities, and The Killers are one of our favourite bands, so playing this concert is an absolute pleasure for us.”

And The Killers…

"Coldplay were one of the bands that gave us hope when we were just four boys in a garage. To share the stage with them for the War Child cause is an honor."
