Snow Patrol Join Up With Apple For New Album

Mega huge soft-rockers Snow Patrol will bring out an interactive application for their new album for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch.
The application will enable fans to access extra content such as artwork, exclusive images and lyrics, and will be downloadable online, marking the first time an artist has made use of the iPhone’s extra functions.
Snow Patrol’s label boss Liz Goodwin tells: “It will be an interactive element; a digital booklet that will take you into the videos and content. For fans it will be a real must-have, and the fact that they are the first band to do this gives us an additional angle for exposure.”
The new album, titled ‘A Hundred Million Suns’, will be released October 27. And the pretty-darn great-sounding first single, ‘Take Back The City’, was heard first on Steve Harris’ show last night, but if you missed it, listen again here.
The track-listing for ‘A Hundred Million Suns’ has also been revealed:
- If There’s a Rocket Tie Me To It
- Crack The Shutters Open
- Take Back The City
- Lifeboats
- The Golden Floor
- Please Just Take These Photos From My Hands
- Set Down Your Glass
- The Planets Bend Between Us
- Engines
- Disaster Button
- The Lightning Strike
- (i)What if This Storm Ends?
- (ii)Sunlight Through The Flags
- (iii)Daybreak
