This is a radio show on XFM on Saturday evenings (6-9pm) where there is music and talking and stuff.

Maybe you'd like to text in on 83XFM. Maybe you wouldn't.
Maybe you'd like to phone the studio on 08712221049. Maybe you wouldn't.
Maybe you'd like to fill in that little box down at the bottom. Maybe you wouldn't.

Basically, do whatever you want. Providing you remember to:
FIX UP, LOOK SHARP (even if you're staying in).

The Great Xfm Questionnaire

Your chief characteristic(s)
Tall with a pointy face. Good at mental arithmetic.

Your idea of misery?
Watching Liverpool FC concede goals. Washing-up. Listening to Mika. Washing up whilst listening to Mika.

What was your worst ever job?
Door-to-door selling a special weatherproof coating for the exterior of houses. Whilst wearing an ill-fitting suit. Terrible times.

Where would you most like to live?
Williamsburg in New York. It’s amazing. Like East London should be but isn’t.

Where do you live now?
Kentish Town. It’s amazing. Like Camden should be but isn’t.

Which characters in musical history do you most dislike?
I’ll go contemporary if I may - Mika. I despise that man. His music, his character, his clothes...

Which characters in musical history would you like to be?
Easy. Axl Rose, before it all went wrong.

Your favourite album ever (yes, I know it’s impossible, but try dammit)?
What? I love QOTSA ‘Lullabies to Paralyze’. And Oasis ‘Definitely Maybe’. And Guns’n Roses ‘Appetite for Destruction’. More recently, The Noisettes album ‘What’s The Time Mister Wolf?’. I can’t choose, sorry. I have tried.

Who’s your favourite DJ?
Marc Riley and Lard when they did the 10pm slot on Radio One. Absolutely superb. The best music, the best chat.

Your favourite qualities in a band/musician?
Swagger. I like a good swagger. And a maniac drummer.

Your favourite hero or heroine in fiction?
Ethan Hunt in the Mission: Impossible films. Vic Mackey in The Shield (he’s more of an anti-hero, but still – what a guy).

Your favourite food and drink?
I have a weakness for chicken from chicken shops. And steaks (not from chicken shops). I also really like pineapple juice.

What three songs would you have played at your wedding?
'The Greatest' by Cat Power. 'Johnny B. Goode' by Chuck Berry. 'Connection' by Elastica.

What three songs would you have played at your funeral?
'Sabotage 'by the Beastie Boys. 'Samurai Showdown' by RZA. 'It’s Not Over Yet' by Klaxons. And then as the casket goes into the furnace, it would have to be the Countdown theme music.
