Bloc Party

Kele Okereke and Matt Tong take to Xfm’s wheels of steel with gusto. All the hits and all the banter are right here.

Half of Bloc Party took over Xfm for a month, spinning their favourite songs and introducing them in their best David ‘Kid’ Jensen impressions. The playlist was typically eclectic and the chat, by their own admission a little ‘stilted’ to begin with. Like Coldplay before them, they soon settled in and were batting away offers of employment by Xfm’s bosses like Ian Botham in a rage.

You can listen again to Bloc Party’s Xfm Residency right here. Don’t forget to catch the rest live, every Sunday night between  9pm and 10pm.
