The Sunday Service With Johnny Borrell

The Razorlight man is hosting his own show especially for Xfm, full of songs you don't hear played on the radio...

Razorlight frontman Johnny Borrell, is presenting a weekly evening show on Xfm’s ‘The Sunday Service: Songs They Don’t Play on the Radio’.

Playing the music he loves during the one hour Sunday Service show, Borrell will take over the Xfm airwaves between 9 and 10pm every Sunday.

Johnny says: "Earlier this year Xfm let me take up an hour every Sunday playing whatever music I wanted.  It was a great opportunity to play music that means a lot to me, so I'm really pleased to be doing it again.

"It's the kind of thing that only Xfm would do. When I was doing The Residency, I was making connections between totally disparate artists - from Iggy Pop, to Buju Banton, to Allen Ginsberg. I don't think there's any radio station in the world that would let me play those three artists, but I did it on Xfm! It’s going to be one hour each night of the songs they don't play on the radio."
