Xfm's England House Band - Wedneday's Selection

added 26 May 2010 at 09.00

Some more homegrown World Cup songs for your perusal...

Summer is here… and that means that it's time once more to see unrealistic dreams, over-hyped hopes and feelings of grandure smashed on the rocks as England once more crash out of a major sporting event to the hands of a small European nation… it’s the World Cup.

Xfm is going to be celebrating in style!  We’re looking for a ‘House Band’ to keep the England faithful entertained at Xfm events before the big kick-off. We've had dozens of entries, and here are the first ten. Let us know which is your favourite by leaving a comment below and we'll take your yays or nays into consideration when we decide on the shortlist.

The Tetleys - 'Fly The Flag'

Sour Mash - 'Bring It On Home'

White Van Man vs Sean Ruane - 'Viva Englandia'

Joe Haycocks - 'Since Fabio'

Goldblade - 'England's Still Dreaming'

Finelines - '21st Century England Fan'
