They've returned with blinding new single, 'No Kind Words'. Now they're back at Xfm knocking out a session of pure class and skewed pop genius.
Maccabees popped in to see us on the eve of release of their second album, ‘Wall Of Arms’. They’d already dropped the sublime ‘No Kind Words’ and while they recorded the session, they hit us with a tantalising taster of what was to come from their brilliant new record.
We love Maccabees and this session was a real pleasure. Pop really doesn’t get much intelligent, skewed or darn-right life affirming.
