Xfm Session - Gallows

The Watford punks came in to tear Xfm a new blow-hole recently. They did a good job of it, too. Six tracks of punk fury await your perusal…

2007’s ‘Orchestra Of Wolves’ blew the doors off for the five Black Flag enthusiasts from Watford. It was a brutal blast of feral punk rock, too. So brutal, in fact, that Kerrang! couldn’t give them enough awards and Warners couldn’t get the cheque book out quick enough.
So here we are, 2009, and Gallows have returned. ‘Grey Britain’ is the astounding second album; a bleak account of Britain’s current state. It’s astounding, in short, and as close to their live fury as you’re going to get.
Imagine our surprise, then, when they came in to Xfm and didn’t just do the usual four songs, they packed in a whopping six. Prepare to bang your head, folks…
