The be-quiffed genre-hopping merchant of indie pop came in to see us at Xfm. Four songs he unleashed, four songs we were captivated for. Hear it again now...

We’ve all loved Esser's singles and seen him play some wonderfully bizarre and spellbinding live shows. We’ve got to say, seeing him rock Reading last year was a bit of a ‘moment’.

Needless to say, we can’t wait to hear his debut album, ‘Braveface’. If the singles have been anything to go by, and if this session is a taster of what’s to come, we’ll have worn the CD thin come this year’s festival season.
