The Kooks Live From Leicester Square
Brighton's Kooks showed up on Friday's Live From Leicester Square to play an exclusive live acoustic set for Xfm. Hear it all here...
Ahead of supplying us with a month-long Residency (Sunday nights 9 - 10pm) The Kooks dropped by the Xfm studio to chat to our man Dave Berry and play a few songs. And thoroughly nice blokes they were too.
The studio was as full as ever, bursting at the seams with fans excited by the imminent release of the band's second album 'Konk'. The new single 'Always Where I Need To Be,' has already reached number three in the UK singles chart making it their most successful single to date.
Ringleaders of the band, Luke and Hugh, came in to play an exclusive acoustic set including the single, an old favourite and a cover of an Arctic Monkeys track. Certainly one of our best sessions so far this year.
