Portico Quartet Live In Session

London modern-jazz combo, Portico Quartet, occupied the Xfm studios for a sublime, chilled session.
Formed in London, the Quartet have steadily been gaining exposure, making an impact on the UK's well-developed, if a little niche, modern jazz scene.
Milo, Jack, Nick and Duncan took a break from their busy UK touring schedule to give us a taste of their distinctively mellow sound, which features a saxophone, a double bass, percussion and a hang (a percussive instrument similar to a steel drum).
Just listen to the session and you'll get what we mean. Prepare to be inspired.
