Little Dragon Live on X-posure
The Swedish purveyors of ambient electronica rushed over to the Xfm studios after a packed gig at Cargo to showcase their chilled, mellow sound
Little Dragon hail from Gothenburg in Sweden a city recognised for the soulful, mellow sounds of electronica-jazz and folk-pop associated with the likes of Koop and Jose Gonzalez. It's also the birthplace of the Black Metal scene, but let's just forget that for the moment shall we.
The point is that Little Dragon have a lot to live up to when it comes to musical precedent. However, as they showed when they dropped by John Kennedy's X-Posure, they're more than equal to the task. Hotfootin' it over from a gig at Cargo, they delivered a spine-tingling set of songs from their current album 'Little Dragon'.
They won't be back in the UK for a while, but it's worth catching them when you get the chance.
