Death Cab For Cutie Live On Music: Response

US indie rockers Death Cab For Cutie popped into Steve Harris' Music:Response for a live session. Listen below...
Death Cab For Cutie have been around playing and recording music for over eleven years - not bad for a band who took their name from a song originally sung by Vivian Stanshall of the Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band as a parody of Elvis Presley, and then appropriated as a live track by The Beatles. Don't ask.
This month (May 2008) sees the release of Death Cab's seventh studio album, 'Narrow Stairs,' following on from the release of the great new single, 'I Will Possess Your Heart'.
The band came in to play the single as well as another album track, 'Talking Bird'. Not only will we treat you to the live tracks, exclusively recorded for Xfm, but we'll also chuck in an interview with the band. Result!
