Brighton's finest supergroup return with a session of tracks from their brilliant new album 'Beatific Visions'. Listen to the Brakes live on Xfm.
In 2005 Brakes released their debut album 'Give Blood' through Rough Trade Records. After it's release Brakes toured with thge likes of Belle & Sebastian and Editors plus the continued success of the band lead to frontman Eamon quitting his role as keyboardist for British Sea Power to concentrate on the band full-time.
This year they released their long awaited follow up 'Beatific Visions' which saw Brakes taking their gift for melody and simple songwriting to a new level and you can listen to some of it's finest tracks right here.
