An Evening With Friendly Fires

The trio brought their funky rhythms to an invited audience of fans at Xfm Towers...
Summer's here and to be honest, the Xfm offices are a tad overheated. So who better to cool us down with their summertime samba rhythms than Friendly Fires. The band are set to play three - count 'em, three! - shows at London's O2 Academy Brixton later this year, so to be able to see them in a tiny venue is something of a treat.
And you can't get much smaller than the Xfm studios. The Fires (as we like to call them) played some tracks from their new one Pala, plus an old favourite. Listen to the session - plus chat from our man Steve Harris - below.
