We’ve been big fans of Fightstar for years. ‘Grand Unification’ was a belter of a debut, ‘One Day Son, This Will All Be Yours’ was a great record, but third album ‘Be Human’ blew the bloody doors off. Single ‘Mercury Summer’ was a playlist staple, and quite rightly… single of the year so far? It’s up there.

When the idea of ‘An Evening With…’ was hatched, Fightstar were never too far away from the top of our wish-list. What could be better – a big slab of rock, the intimate environs of the Xfm studio and a carefully selected handful of fans.

The band treated us to a stripped-back, acoustic Plus, a bit of chat with our very own Steve Harris, including the exciting news that the band were to soundtrack a forthcoming horror film...
