Tim Wheeler and his power-punk legends played a blinder of a session for us. Listen again here.

You may have noticed, but Ash fell on London last week. No, not that blessed volcano that's been causing all that bother, but Tim Wheeler, Mark Hamilton and Rick McMurray, the Northern Irish powerhouse.

They brought their kit - plus new guitarist Russell Lissack of Bloc Party - into Xfm Towers to perform in front of a handful of listeners and a clearly excited Steve Harris, who's been an Ash fan since, well, forever.
