RULES

1. The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.xfm.co.uk/onair/competition-terms-and-conditions ) apply to 'Alexander Armstrong's Big Ask' radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from Monday 13th February 2012 to Monday 27th February 2012 (“the Duration”), taking place each Monday only. The "Radio Station" is XFM London.

2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

Details of the Competition:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must send a text message with the word ‘WIN’ to 83936 (the “Text Message Line”). Text messages will be charged at standard network rates. Opening and closing times of the Text Message Line will be given out on air.

4. Each day one listener be randomly selected & brought to air to answer 3 questions based around specific theme. For each question answered correctly, the contestant will win £250. If the question is answered incorrectly they will win £0.

5. Once all three questions have been asked, the listener will be given the opportunity to answer one final question ‘The Big Ask’ to double their winnings so far.

6. If the contestant gets 'The Big Ask’ question correct they will double their winnings. If they get it incorrect, they will lose all of their winnings. If they choose not to select it, they will keep the original amount.

Eligibility:
7. All winners must be over 16.

8. Entry is restricted to one entry per person; duplicate entries will be removed.

Prize:
9. Each contestant brought to air has the chance to win between £0 & £1,500.

The possible prize combinations include the following:
- If a contestant gets 0 out of 3 questions correct, they win £0 & don’t’ get asked the ‘Big Ask’ question.
- If a contestant gets 1 out of 3 questions correct, they win £250 & get the chance to double it to £500 by correctly answering the final ‘Big Ask’ question. If they give an incorrect answer they lose their winnings & win £0.
- If a contestant gets 2 out of 3 questions correct, they win £500 & get the chance to double it to £1,000 by correctly answering the final ‘Big Ask’ question. If they give an incorrect answer they lose their winnings & win £0.
- If a contestant gets 3 out of 3 questions correct, they win £750 & get the chance to double it to £1,500 by correctly answering the final ‘Big Ask’ question. If they give an incorrect answer they lose their winnings & win £0.

The prize is non-transferable.

BALLS OR BUST [XFM LONDON JANUARY 2012]

The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.xfm.co.uk/onair/competition-terms-and-conditions) apply to the ‘Balls Or Bust’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from January 9 2012 to January 30 2012 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is XFM London and Xfm Manchester.

Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

Entrants will be selected randomly from all qualifying entrants. The entrant will then be brought to air and will be challenged to stop the countdown before the countdown goes "bust". The entrant will either a) win the number of iTunes downloads that were mentioned before the entrant stopped the countdown, or b) if they go "bust" they will not win any iTunes downloads. A member of Xfm staff will confirm how many iTunes downloads have been won at the conclusion of the competition.

The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.xfm.co.uk/onair/competition-terms-and-conditions) apply to the ‘Xfm Album Cover Quiz’ competition ("the Competition") which will run from Friday December 16 2011 to midday Friday January 13 2012 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is XFM London and Xfm Manchester.

Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

To qualify, entrants must get 20 questions out of 30 correct.
All qualifying entrants who enter will be placed into a free prize draw. 
One winner will be drawn. 
The prize is 1,000 iTunes downloads. The downloads will be supplied via iTunes promotional codes.
The closing date for entry to this prize draw is Friday January 13 2012 at midday (GMT). 
The draw will be chosen at random by a member of the Xfm online department. There is no alternative prize. The competition is not open to anyone associated with Global Radio plc. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at http://www.xfm.co.uk/onair/competition-terms-and-conditions) apply to ‘Danny Wallace Naked Breakfast’ radio competition ("the Competition") which will run from 6.30am Monday December 12 2011 to 10am Monday December 19 2011 (“the Duration”). The "Radio Station" is Xfm London and Xfm Manchester.

 

Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

Entrants will be directed by the presenter to text 83936. The first five entries received will each win a pair of tickets to the Danny Wallace Naked Breakfast Show on Tuesday December 20 2011. If an entrant does not pick up, the next entrant in line will be contacted.

This ticket is issued subject to the terms and conditions of Global Radio and of the Venue (together called "the Management") which include without limitation:
 
1.    No admission without a valid place on the guestlist.
 
2.    The Management reserves the right to change the programme in exceptional circumstances, such as the illness of an artiste, traffic congestion, weather.
 
3.    No tickets exchanged unless an Event is cancelled or postponed. 
 
4.    The Management reserves the right to refuse admission or to eject a ticket holder for behaviour likely to cause damage, injury, nuisance or annoyance or for failure to comply with the reasonable requests of the Management.
 
5.    The Management reserves the right to conduct security searches to ensure safety of patrons.
 
6.    No professional cameras, video recorders or any form of audio visual or audio recording equipment allowed into the Venue and their use is strictly prohibited.
 
7.    No bottles or cans are allowed in the Venue
 
8.    Items that the Management, in its absolutes discretion, consider may be a threat to health and safety are not permitted into the Venue.
 
9.    The Management does not accept responsibility for the loss or damage of personal property brought into the Venue, unless caused by their negligence.
 
10. The Management accepts responsibility for death or personal injury caused by their negligence, but not otherwise.
 
11. Under no circumstances will the Management be liable for unforeseen or indirect loss.
 
12. Winners must be 18 years of age or over.
 
13. Ticket holders leaving the Venue will not be granted re-entry.
 
14. This ticket is not valid for re-sale or transfer.  Should this ticket be re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain by anyone other than the nominated Box Office or one of its authorised sub-agents, it will become void and the holder may be refused entry to or ejected from the Venue
 
15. WARNING – Please note that you will be exposed to loud music at the Event.  Please also be aware that strobe lighting may be used during the Event.
 
16. The management has a ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY IN RESPECT OF ILLEGAL SUBSTANCES Management WILL refuse admission or eject a ticket holder(s) for ANY behaviour which is, or is likely to, breach this policy. Management shall be entitled to take all reasonable measures to ensure compliance with this policy.
 
17. The Event will be recorded.  Your attendance at the Event shall constitute your approval for inclusion within the filming and audio recording and your permission for the Management to make full use of the recordings and footage taken with no recourse to you.
 
18. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected by theses terms and conditions.

NOVEMBER / DECEMBER 2011
RULES

2. Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them. The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.

Details of the Competition:
3. To enter the Competition an Entrant must text Xfm, as directed on-air. A trigger track will be the cue to text, as instructed by the presenter. An entrant will be randomly selected and brought to air to answer a question. The lines will open and close at the time specified on-air. Entrants must text WONDER to 83936 - standard text charges apply.

Eligibility:
4. All entrants must be over the age of 14. Under 14s must be with adult and seated in circle.

Prize:
5. The prizes consist of a pair of tickets to either Xfm's Winter Wonderland at the O2 Apollo Manchester on Monday December 5 or Xfm's Winter Wonderland on Wednesday December 14. The prize will be confirmed by the presenter on air.
6. The tickets are not transferable. The prize does not include any travel, accommodation or spending money.
7. Entry to The O2 Apollo Manchester and the O2 Academy Brixton is subject to the venue’s terms and conditions.

 

Kasabian New Years Eve
XFM Network Breakfast Promotion

RULES

 
1.         The following rules (“Rules”) together with Global Radio’s ("Global Radio") general and competition terms and conditions (the “Terms and Conditions”) (which can be found at www.xfm.com/rules) apply to ‘O2 KASABIAN NYE’ radio competition ("the competition") which will run on Monday 7 November until Friday 11 November (“the Duration”).  The "Radio Station" is XFM Network.
 
2.         Anyone who enters the Competition (an “Entrant”) will be deemed to have understood these Rules along with the Terms and Conditions and will be bound by them.  The Terms and Conditions are available on request from the Radio Station.
 
Details of the Competition:
3.         To enter the Competition an Entrant must contact XFM, as directed on-air.
 
4.         The competition will require a mechanic whereby callers will be randomly selected by the on air producers to be brought to air and play the game as confirmed by the XFM presenters.
 
5.         Monday’s winner will be brought back to continue playing against another caller on Tuesday. The daily winner will come back to play each day, if they do not win that day, then they not come back the next day.
 
6.         Incorrect answers will also be rewarded with a standard pair of tickets to the NYE Concert at O2.
 
7.         The caller that wins Friday’s competition will be the overall winner and be awarded the major prize.
 
8.         The lines will open and close at the time specified on-air.
