Yeasayer and MGMT Back In The UK

NYC does LDN as MGMT and Yeasayer - two of the most hotly-tipped U.S. bands - return for a new UK campaign. 2008 could well belong to these two...
As if playing a series of blazing gigs each during November that left behind a trail of converts in their wake wasn't enough, the highly touted MGMT (pictured) and Yeasayer are set to blow up a storm in the early part of 2008.
So far, the New York bands have announced three dates apiece though more gigs are expected to be announced.
MGMT's debut album, 'Oracular Spectacular' sees the light of day during the opening overs of 2008 while Yeasayer's 'All Our Cymbals' has been making waves since its release earlier this year.
Tickets for all the shows are now available from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop by clicking here for Yeasayer or here for MGMT.
Yeasayer's tour dates are:
- Bar Academy, Birmingham (March 5)
- ICA, London (6)
- Night & Day, Manchester (9)
while MGMT's tour goes like this:
- The Bodega Social Club, Nottingham (February 28)
- Night & Day, Manchester (March 1)
- Bar Academy, Birmingham (3)
