Two Door Cinema Club to Work on New Album
Speaking to Xfm backstage at Winter Wonderland 2010 with Jose Cuervo the band said they are not going to have much of a break:
“We’re going to be going home and spending it with our families, but we’re also going to be writing so we’re not really going to be resting fully” lead singer Alex said, “It’s just we need to be doing something – hopefully we’ll be on the way to our next album at the start of next year, probably head into the studio midway through [2011] but we’ll be ready for it before then.”
It’s been a big year for the band with the release of debut album ‘Tourist History’ in March and two massive sold out shows at Shepherd’s Bush.
But Sam says rather than recover – they want to continue the success they’ve had so far:
“We don’t want to lose momentum, we feel like we’ve got to a good place now and we don’t want to leave it very long, we’re very conscious of that.”
