Vampire Weekend have announce their new record will be released on May 6.....

Vampire Weekend's third album will be released on May 6.

They confirmed earlier this week that they were putting the finishing touches to the follow up to 2010's Contra.

The band told NME that the sound is "organic" and "cohesive" on the new record

They announced the release date using a GIF on their Tumblr blog.
