The Return Of Isbobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan

added 28 February 2008 at 10.27

The Mercury Award-nominated couple of Isobel Campell and Mark Lanegan are set to return with their second collection of wind-swept gothic Americana. And this time, they've actually recorded it together.

The follow-up to the critically acclaimed 'Ballad Of The Broken Seas' was recorded between studios in the Catskill Mountains and Glasgow.

Unlike it's predecessor which saw former Belle & Sebastian chanteuse Campell and one-time Screaming Trees growler and Queens Of The Stone Age collaborator Lanegan mailing each other's contributions across the Atlantic and back again, the pair have actually been in the same room for this one.

'Sunday At Devil Dirt' is released on May 5 through V2/Cooperative Music.
