The Breeders Are Back

added 05 December 2007 at 16.57

Five years on since the release of 'Title TK', The Breeders announce the launch of a new album. And a full UK tour for the Spring.

Not that they've entirely been resting on their laurels, oh no. Kim Deal got back with Pixies for one of the most hotly anticipated reunions in recent memory but with the band's promotional duties over and done with, it's time for The Breeders to go do the do that only they do so well.

'Mountain Battles' will be released on April 7. Recorded by the legendary Steve Albini, whose previous knob-twiddling duties include Pixies, Nirvana and Page & Plant, the album features ten tracks while Kim and Kelley Deal are augmented by the rhythm section of 'Title TK' veterans Jose Medeles and Mando Lopez

Though live dates are yet to be confirmed, The Breeders will visit the UK in April to mark the release of the album.

'Mountain Battles''s full track listing is:

1. 'Overglazed'
2. 'Bang On'
3. 'Night Of Joy'
4. 'We're Gonna Rise'
5. 'German Studies'
6. 'Spark'
7. 'Istanbul'
8. 'Walk It'
9. 'Regalame Esta Noche'
10. 'Here No More'
11. 'No Way'
12. 'It's The Love'
13. 'Mountain Battles'
