Sir Paul McCartney and his wife came within two feet of being involved in a helicopter crash earlier this year... Tweet

The former Beatle was traveling in a £5 million helicopter in May when their pilot became "disorientated" in poor weather .

They nearly crashed into some trees but managed to land in a nearby airport according to the Daily Mail

The Mail on Sunday says that the Air Accidents Investigation Branch has categorised it a 'serious incident'.
