Keith Richards, Iggy Pop, Michael Stipe and Courtney Love are among the big names that have recorded tracks for a new pirate themed compilation album.
Son of Rogue's Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs and Chanteys is a 36 track double CD which has been put together by music producer Hal Willner with Johnny Depp and film director Gore Verbinski as producers.
Willner was inspired to do the project while he was working on Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest.
The record is a follow up to Rogue's Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs and Chanteys, which came out in 2006.
It's out in February.
