Noel Gallagher Curates Teenage Cancer Trust Line Up

The line up has been announced for next year'sTeenage Cancer Trust at the Royal Albert Hall shows, curated by Noel Gallagher.

The series at gigs - for which Xfm is exclusive radio partner - takes place March 19 - 24 2013 and the line-up most notably features Noel and his former Britpop enemies Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon all playing the same night.

Also headlining nights of their own are Ryan Adams, Kasabian and Primal Scream.

There will once again be an evening of comedy - this time featuring Russell Brand and Noel Fielding - with more names to be announced.

The annual gigs are organised by Teenage Cancer Trust patron and rock icon Roger Daltrey CBE, who asked Noel to curate the 2013 line-up knowing he's been a longstanding supporter of the charity.

"Teenage Cancer Trust do a brilliant job," Noel explained. "I've always been more than pleased to lend my support over the years. It's also now a charity that is very close to the hearts and minds of dozens of acts in the world of music. It's an honour to have the task of putting together the bills for next year's series of concerts at the Royal Albert Hall."

It's the first time The Who frontman has let anyone else take control of the event - which has been going since 2000.

On asking Noel to curate Roger Daltrey said: "Who's a lucky boy then! I AM! As I am in the middle of a six month tour of the US with The Who, I was very concerned that I would not find the time to curate next year's Teenage Cancer Trust shows at the Royal Albert Hall. So it's with great pride and relief that I'm able to thank Noel Gallagher, who has supported me from day one of these concerts, for standing in for me and arranging the artists for the shows next March, and he has pulled together a fantastic line up that promises to be another great success for the charity."

Thursday 21 - Primal Scream

Friday 22 - Kasabian

Saturday 23 - Noel Gallagher and special guests including Damon Albarn & Graham Coxon

Sunday 24 - Rizzle Kicks, Labrinth

Tickets go on sale at 9.30am on Friday (December 7) and will be available from The Xfm Ticket Shop.
