New Tour And Single For The Hives

The Hives have announced details of a series of UK shows to celebrate the release of their next single, the Pharrell produced 'We Rule The World (T.H.E.H.I.V.E.S)'.
Sweden's finest exports since meatballs, The Hives, are set to play a host of live shows across the UK this April, including a date at London's Brixton Academy on April 18.
The gigs will support the release of the band's new confidently titled single 'We Rule The World (T.H.E.H.I.V.E.S)' which is due to hit our shelves on February 25.
Recorded in Miami with hip-hop producer extraordinaire Pharrell Williams, the second single from their recent 'The Black and White Album' is being released digitally and on a limited 10" vinyl.
Both formats include an exclusive remix of the single from Arctic Monkey's Matt Helders plus a bonus remix by Yeah Yeah Yeahs of 'Tick Tick Boom' that you can also download for free until January 21 by clicking here.
In other Hives related news the band have been asking fans to submit their ideas for the artwork for the new single with the winning design appearing on the sleeve of the 10" vinyl.
Entries which should be (mostly) black and white must be submitted in a square format to thehivescoverart@googlemail.com. Closing date January 21.
