New Green Day Material Online?

added 14 December 2007 at 15.07

Speculation is rife that 60s-inspired garage Foxboro Hot Tubs are, in actual fact, none other than Green Day.

The NoCal punk vets are rumoured to be the Not-So-Sinister-Mr-Bigs behind a number of tracks that have appeared on the internet credited to Foxboro Hot Tubs.

Foxboro Hot Tub's brand of fuzzbox-inspired ramalama is available to listen to here.

Though the trio's involvement hasn't been officially confirmed, the material does sound suspiciously familiar.

This isn't the first time Green Day have performed under an assumed name. They once released material under the guise of a masked rock band called The Network.
