Neil Young Announces UK Tour

added 14 December 2007 at 16.01

Rock veteran Neil Young has announced details of a UK tour that will include a four-night residency in London. Rumoured to be his last tour, tickets will shift fast.

The seven-date tour will kick off in Edinburgh on March 3 before concluding with two dates in Manchester on March 11 and 12.

Tickets for all the shows are now available from the Xfm Xchange on 0871 222 1049 or from the Xfm Online Ticket Shop by clicking here

Neil Young's tour dates are:

  • The Playhouse, Edinburgh (March 3)
  • Hammersmith Apollo, London (5, 6, 8, 9)
  • Apollo, Manchester (11, 12)

The gigs will more than make up for the wait experienced by fans expecting the first part of Neil Young's long-anticipated 'Archives' box set. The nine-CD collection of rarities, demos, unreleased songs and alternate takes is expected to cover the period 1963-69. The set was due to hit the shops this year until Young decided to finally finish off the 'Chrome Dreams' album he started and abandoned in 1977 and released the acclaimed 'Chrome Dreams II' instead.
