Massive Attack In Meltdown

Bristolian trip-hoppers Massive Attack have been confirmed as the curators of this year's Meltdown Festival at the South Bank.
Following in the footsteps of Nick Cave, Jarvis Cocker and David Bowie, Massive Attack will oversee the line-up that will make up this year's Meltdown Festival.
Details of the festival's programme will be announced in due course.
A statement from the band reads: "It's an honour to host Southbank Centre's Meltdown Festival and to be in such inspiring company as its previous curators.
"In addition to the music, we want this year's festival to have a strong political and visual element to it to reflect our influences and obsessions. Our aim is to mix it up a bit by instigating collaborations that make sense and probably some that don't."
The 2008 Meltdown Festival will take place from June 14-22 at London's South Bank.
