X-clusive: Mark Ronson For Kaiser Chiefs Album

Nick Kaiser told Xfm how the band's third album is shaping up. Meanwhile, an exclusive source has revealed that Mark Ronson is set to produce it!
Speaking at the Brit Awards 2008, where the Kaiser Chiefs were nominated for an impressive three gongs, drummer and chief songwriter Nick Hodgson told Xfm:
"We've got a load of new songs ready for the new album - we're busy playing them, rehearsing them and writing a load more.
"There's a big difference between these songs are our old stuff. It's definitely worth people getting excited about hearing these as they're are gonna be so different.
"There's one tune that we did on the last tour called 'Never Miss A Beat' (see video below) which has the potential to be huge."
Elsewhere a reliable Xfm source close to Mark Ronson claimed that the award winning producer is set to produce the follow up to 2007's 'Yours Truly, Angry Mob'.
Backing this up comes the fact that Ronson - who picked up a Brit Award for Best British Male Solo Artist last week -revealed to the BBC this morning that he plans to produce other artists' albums this year, including "a big band"...which may or may not be the Kaisers....watch this space!
