Kate Nash's New Band

added 28 March 2008 at 13.19

Kate Nash is adding another string to her musical bow by playing drums for her new secret side-project.

The Brit-winning songstress has revealed that she's gonna be hanging up her microphone to bang out the beats with a new band.

She told The Daily Star "I'm so excited. I really like playing drums because you can get everything out. It's great thing to do - just beat it all out. To be able to achieve getting a rhtyhm is a real challenge."

The ever mysterious lady refused to share any more details about the style of music, other band members, or whether her beau, The Cribs' Ryan Jarman would be involved.

Nash is set to open up Glastonbury's Pyramid Stage this summer and told Xfm all about her explosive plans.
