Garbage "Have Plans" For Another Record

As the band release their first album in seven years Shirley Manson has told Xfm there are plans for a follow up...
Their first album release for 7 years - Not Your Kind Of People - is out today.
The band have previously admitted to Xfm that they were burnt out following the release of 2005's Bleed Like Me.
Butch Vig admitted to us that frontwoman Shirley Manson was the key factor in getting the band back together.
"She called up and said 'why don't we get together and just see what happens?' That was a little over a year ago. We went into a studio in Los Angeles for a week and just basically goofed around and jammed and drank a lot of wine and laughed and told stories. It was great and all these songs just started forming straight away."
Speaking to Xfm's Gordon Smart yesterday the Garbage frontwoman explained that despite the new album finally coming out the band aren't taking anything for granted following its release.
"There's so many things that have happened to us as a band that have knocked us sideways and I think we don't really make plans and as a result we're really enjoying ourselves this time around because we don't feel like its going on ad infinitum," she explained.
"We would like to make another record, we've talked about making another record and we have plans for another record but who knows if we'll ever be lucky enough to get to that point."
