Franz Ferdinand Support The Cribs

None-more-indie trio The Cribs were last night (December 20) supported by the considerably larger Franz Ferdinand.

Playing the first of three consectutive nights in the somewhat cosy surroundings of Leeds' Brundell Social Club, The Cribs ran through their eponymous debut album in its entirety and will do so with their other two albums for the remaining dates.

'The New Fellas' will be aired tonight (December 20) while tomorrow's gig (21) will be centred around this year's 'Men's Needs Women's Needs Whatever' album.

Franz Ferdinand used their support slot to preview four new songs including 'Can't Stop This Feeling' as well as firm favourites 'Michael', 'Matinee' and 'Take Me Out'.

The lucky fans crammed into the small club were joined by Kate Nash, Kaiser Chiefs and The Pigeon Detectives.

More special guests are rumoured to be joining The Cribs tonight.
