Frances Bean Creeped Out By Fans

added 11 February 2008 at 14.48

Frances Bean Cobain, the daughter of Courtney Love and the late Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain, has spoken about dealing with her parents' fans.

The 15-year-old has said that, while appreciating why fans of Nirvana and Hole would take an interest in her, she finds the whole experience somewhat unsettling. Speaking with Harper's Bazaar, Frances Bean said:

"These people are fascinated by me, but I haven't done anything. If you're a big Nirvana fan, a big Hole fan, then I  understand why you would want to get to know me, but I'm not my parents. I get it, I really do, but at the same time
it's creepy. People need to wait until I've done something valid with my life".

Asked what would that be, she said that - somewhat wisely - that she was considering journalism or photography. She added:

"I'm taking my time. But I get asked what I want to do all the time because of my parents and because of the life I live".

Where does she get it from?
