The 'Big Four' Confirmed For Sonisphere
Metallica, Slayer, Megadeath and Anthrax on the same stage for the first time ever in the UK!...
Last summer more than 500,000 metalheads saw them take to the stage across Europe but sadly our shores have yet to see the extravagance - until now.
All four bands will headline the Friday night at Knebworth.
Megadeath mainman Dave Mustaine:
"The Big Four Concerts are the most important, most exciting event to happen in the history of live concerts in our genre, and perhaps the entire music industry. I am glad to be a part of this enormous celebration of thrash, speed, and good ole heavy metal!"
Biffy Clyro have already been announced as the Saturday night headliner - with Slipknot closing the show on the Sunday.
The festival takes place July 8 - 10 2011 - tickets are now on sale.
