Mars Volta Added to Sonisphere Line-Up
It will be the band's only UK show of 2011....
Also added to the bill for Knebworth are Opeth, Killing Joke, Four Year Strong, The Black Dahlia Murder, Black Tide, Watain, Firewind, Rise to Remain, Alestorm, Six Hour Sundown and The Treatment.
Guitarist Omar Rodríguez-López says he is "stocked" to play adding, "everything I've heard about the festival has been positive, I'm sure it'll be great. Playing live for me is the best part of being in a band, I can't wait to get back out there. I'm excited to play the new songs."
Sonisphere takes place at 12 venues around Europe during June and July.
The English event takes place at Knebworth House July 8 - 10. T
