Isle of Wight Festival: Bloc Party and The Maccabees Added

The Happy Mondays, Blondie, Jake Bugg, Republica and The Farm are also now on the bill...

Bloc Party, The Maccabees and The Happy Mondays have all been added to the line up for next year's Isle of Wight Festival.

Jake Bugg, Paloma Faith, Ellie Goulding, Fun., The Farm, Blondie and Republica have also been added to the 2012 bill.

The Stone Roses and Bon Jovi have already been confirmed for the event - which takes place June 13 - 16 2013.

John Giddings, the Festival's promoter, commented: "We are proud to present some of the best new music around, together with artists who helped scope the face of modern music- it?s a stunning combination so far."

Bloc Party are headlining the Manchester leg of Xfm's Winter Wonderland with Rocksmith which takes place TOMORROW!
