Hurts and The Naked & Famous for Dot to Dot

added 22 February 2011 at 12.35

The first acts have been unveiled for the multi-city festival...

Mona, Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs, Ed Sheeran and The Phoenix Foundation have also been confirmed.

Darwin Deez will be doing the Manchester date of the event which sees three major music hubs taken over for a day each - with some of the most exciting up and coming bands put on show.

Dot To Dot Event Organiser Anton Lockwood reckons it's going to be good:

"2011 is shaping up to be the best Dot To Dot ever. We’re really excited to have the UK's most stylish avant-garde electronic pop act Hurts headlining the festival. And, this is just the tip of the iceberg as we have many more fantastic established and up and coming acts from around the world still to be announced."

The dates are:

Bristol: Saturday 28th May 2011

Nottingham: Sunday 29th May 2011

Manchester: Monday 30th May 2011

Tickets are on sale now via the Dot to Dot website.
