The band have been confirmed for the Polish festival next year - and we're being told to expect some new material live....

Arctic Monkeys are the latest big name to be confirmed for next year's Heineken Open'er Festival.

The band are currently working on a new album, so organisers are saying to expect some new material at when they take to the stage in Poland.

Arctic Monkeys previously tested material at Open'er when they performed there ahead of the release of 2009's Humbug.

Kings Of Leon were last week announced as the third headliners for next year's Open'er Festival - which takes place at a former airbase at Gydnia-Kosakowo airport - with Blur and Queens of the Stone Age the other two.

New Order, Mumford and Sons and Bloc Party were among the big names on the bill in 2012 - see what Xfm got up to backstage.

Heineken Open'er takes place July 3 - 6 2013.

Early bird tickets are on sale now at a reduced price - see http://opener.pl/en for full details.
