The Black Parade Marches On The Mail

They're not gonna take any more of this! My Chemical Romance fans have announced their intention to march across London to the Daily Mail's headquarters in protest at the way they've been portrayed by the tabloid.
The fans are upset at the way the newspaper has called My Chemical Romance a "suicide cult" band in relation to the its coverage of the suicide of 13-year-old emo fan Hannah Bond.
To date, 300 fans have pledged their support and registered their displeasure with their portrayal at the British press. A statement from march organisers MCR Buzznet Community have described The Daily Mail as the "worst offender".
The newspaper has recently run a series of sensationalist articles criticising emo fans, going so far as to describe them as "dangerous" to young people. The rest of us know that they're really goth lite and quite nice too.
The march will take place on May 31 and will begin at Hyde Park's West Pond before moving on through central London to the offices of The Daily Mail. My Chemical Romance's 'The Black Parade' is likely to soundtrack march.

Who the hell cares? If I marched everytime someone insulted my favourite band I wouldn't have a life to get on with.
Plus hanging outside a building in emo uniform, chanting how Mikey Way saved your lives isn't a great way to prove you're NOT cult-like. -
I totally support this march. If I lived anywhere near London, I'd attend this, however I live in Australia so it would be somewhat problematic for me to get there.
I've read at least 3 Daily Mail articles that make fun of MCR fans in one way or another and I'm really sick of it. It's getting very old, very quickly. -
I agree wholeheartedly with the fans disgust at how they have been portrayed by the tabloids.Unfortunately i am an old skool metal head and cant really work out the point of the music(personal opinion only!)so cant really work up to sympathy
