Editors Frontman Is Dad-To-Be
Editors frontman Tom Smith announces he is to become a dad with partner Edith Bowman.
Not to be outdone by Lily Allen and Chemical Brother boyfriend Ed Simons’ revelation of their expected parenthood, Editors frontman Tom Smith has announced today that he too is to become a dad, having found out that partner Edith Bowman is pregnant with their first child.
Smith and radio DJ Bowman, who have been together since 2005, are said to be excited at the news but have no plans to stop working for now. Editors will embark on a US tour in January before returning to the UK to play some huge gigs in Dublin, Glasgow, Manchester and London amongst others.
In the meantime, the couple plan to spend Christmas quietly. As Bowman commented, “It's the best Christmas present we could have wished for”.
